JOIN US. TOGETHER, WE CAN BUILD A MORE INCLUSIVE WORLD.
We create opportunities for inclusion and friendship for people of all abilities by providing ability inclusion awareness, education, and advocacy strategies, while inspiring and leading the next generation to build a more inclusive world.
Score A Friend was founded in 2012 by, Sarah Greichen, a 13-year-old girl in pursuit of her Girl Scout Gold Award. Sarah’s twin brother, Jacob, has an Autism Spectrum Disorder and his lack of inclusion in their schools and community left him isolated and without friendship or purpose. Sarah’s original project goal was to find Jacob a friend. This experience led her to create Score A Friend, a nonprofit organization dedicated to building inclusive schools and communities.
SAF’s programs provide youth and adult members of all abilities the opportunity to work together to identify and implement new inclusive strategies within their communities. Project and club leaders that complete all program requirements are awarded the SAF Ambassador Title.
