STARTING A CLUB YEAR
Choose a Club Administrator to Register your SAF Club on the SAF Website (a student (high school or college level), parent, teacher, or community member). SAF will confirm the registration and guide your club through Club Member Registration.
Access a discounted Club Start-Up Kit from the online store
All Club Members Register on the SAF Website annually. Members receive access to the SAF Member Portal and discounted SAF apparel.
Contact SAF as needed for club member need-based scholarships.
LEADING A CLUB YEAR
5 Club Officers and additional members lead a club
Club Officers and/or other members lead 5 Club Committees
Lead at least monthly meetings utilizing SAF Club Curriculum
Members complete all SAF Inclusion Courses individually or together at club meetings to earn the title “SAF Ambassador”
Host at least monthly social activities
Lead an annual Inclusion Awareness Project between September and December
Lead an annual Create Inclusion Project by May
Lead SAF Week in April
Host an end of year Club Awards Ceremony

SAF provides phone or email consultation to club leaders

The SAF Website shares SAF Clubs from around the globe
Depending on your location, discounted or free SAF apparel, Kits and/or grant funds may be available. SAF will notify you of any discounted or free resources available when you register your club.
MEMBERS UTILIZE THE SAF MEMBER PORTAL TO ACCESS:

MEMBERS PURCHASE SAF APPAREL, SAF KITS, AWARDS, AND GIFTS FROM THE ONLINE STORE:
Club Start-Up Kits: Kits include a SAF table cloth; 5 SAF T-Shirts and lanyards for club officers; and 10 SAF pens and pencils.
SAF Week Kits: Order by February to receive themed SAF Apparel, Table Decorations, and Door Prizes for SAF Week in April.
SAF Activity Kits: Activity Kits encourage teamwork and keep members active, learning about inclusion, and working together during club meetings. Kits to create Club Member Awards and Gifts are also available.
SAF Fundraising Kits: Kits include everything you need to create “inclusive” products that can be sold during SAF Week as a club fundraiser.
ENDING A CLUB YEAR
Annually in May:
Clubs host a Awards Ceremony to recognize members, volunteers, and supporters.
SAF will contact your Club Administrator to complete an online Club Report due in June
SAF will contact each Club Member to complete an online Club Member Report due in June
SAF will utilize all report information to improve and enhance SAF programs, as well as to collect and share program impact data and new strategies for inclusion on the SAF website.
CLUB AND LEADER AWARDS
Complete the SAF Club Report in June to qualify your club for a Top SAF Club Award.
Club Members complete the Club Member Report in June to qualify for a Top
SAF Club Leadership Award.
Both awards will be announced annually in July.
